Emily Romano, CEO
Emily is a dating industry veteran with years of experience that helped to inform the design of paper airplane. As a matchmaker and dating coach she realized that her clients were experiencing two main pain points: not knowing where to go to meet someone, and being afraid of approaching a person they were interested in talking to. The name Paper Airplane came to her after working with a client and telling him he could tell if a woman was interested in him at "paper airplane distance". Through her career she has worked with hundreds of male ad female clients. She has organized and hosted events for some of the largest dating sites in the world, and she created her own coaching and consulting company called Dateover where she gave people the tools they needed to succeed. She has been featured in magazines, TV shows, radio shows and panel discussions on dating topics.
Reaz Hoque, CTO
Reaz has nearly 20 years of product development, outsourcing, leadership and branding experience. He has worked for such companies as
Netscape, CompUSA startup, Pepsi, Northrop and built 20+ industry applications from e-commerce to financial reporting. He has authored 7 books on technology and spent over ten years serving small business owners running the SYNERGY events, which became the #1 event branding company in Boston area. Reaz and Emily have known each other for several years and met at one of his Synergy events.
Andy Jaques, CMO
Andy has over 15 years of HR management, niche executive placement, and organizational development experience. He has worked for Proctor & Gamble / Gillette, EMC Corp, and TJX. He was awarded by the Massachusetts House of Representatives for visionary impact
in his industry. He and Reaz built Synergy together, and share a passion for technology and events.
Stephanie Howard, COO
Stephanie has over 7 years of experience in product launches. Her expertise ranges from strategy, execution, design and implementation. Some of the brands she has worked with include Dasani, Pernod Ricard and Heineken. She has been responsible for hiring, recruiting and training staff, content creation and social media marketing. Her experience building strategic partnerships makes her a huge asset to our launch strategy.
